I started scrubbing through the Revival episodes, and I mean this from the bottom of my heart:

I hate it with every fiber of my being.

No hate to the people involved-- David Duchovny, Gillian Anderson, Chris Carter, or any other writer or producer or actor in the series-- but... so, so much wrath for the writing, the cinematography, the.... Everything.

HOWEVER. I know that my opinions will change once I adjust to the new "style" of the show. And I shall give this series a fair shot. Because.

But man. I've gotta figure out how to straddle the line between disgruntled entertainment and pure rage.

And don't worry, I WILL achieve that balance by the time I watch it. Because I don't want to stew in anger-- I want to have fun, even if the overall is sludge or garbage or okay, really, just sad that it had to unfold this way.

And a lot of people love it, or like it, or appreciate it enough; and I don't want to make them feel lesser for liking this series. Tastes are subjective, no?

At the end of the day, I'll get angry, then amused that I got angry, then turn the experience into something constructive-- then fun-- for everyone~.
